This week I’ve shared the top ten recipes of 2019 and the top ten most-viewed posts of the year but I also wanted to share some of my favorite posts of 2019.  These are the ones that weren’t necessarily the most viewed each month but ones that I loved and wanted to share again, just in case you missed them the first time around.  I chose one from each month to give a full review of the year and if you want to see full details on any of them, simply click the links.

In January, I made super cute llama bath bombs embellished with vinyl and I even included a printable so you can use them as a Valentine’s Day gift for a friend.

In February, I set a table with chocolate name place cards and also shared a similar idea for chocolate letter messages.

These are fun for Valentine’s Day but would definitely work for any holiday throughout the year.

I had a really hard time choosing a favorite project in March because I had a bunch that I loved.

I finally chose the upcycled plarn coffee cuff, made from recycled grocery bags, as my most loved project of the month, but the upcycled mail bag pillow and knit word pillow were definitely in the runner-up category.

In April, I turned an old wooden cheese box into an upcycled phone docking station and it’s still one of my favorite projects.

I love knowing exactly where to find my phone when I wake up in the morning, I never have to worry that the cord is dragging on the ground and getting stepped on, and the look is definitely my style.

In May, I made a personalized dog collar, adding our dog’s name and our phone number to a storebought collar.  It’s an easy alternative to engraved tags.

In June, we threw a hello summer party with some fun creative details and a massive inflatable water slide that filled the entire yard!  It was the perfect way to welcome summer break!  I also loved the colorful cactus party I staged in June.

In July, I tried my hand at no-churn ice cream for the first time and went gourmet with goat cheese rosemary honey no-churn ice cream.  It was amazing and a must-make!

This month was hard to choose from again because my kitchen got an organizational upgrade that I love, I shared a cute pillow I made for my bed, and I made a pom pom rug for my daughter’s room.

In August, I painted the tile fireplace in my living room and completely changed the look of the room.  I couldn’t love it more and I’m now thinking about painting the tile on my other fireplace.

In September, I hopped on the cactus trend big-time with the cutest DIY cactus shoes.

In October, I set up a candy corn shaped dessert charcuterie board that was a huge hit with my kiddos.

In November, I finally made an upcycled yarn bowl, a project I’ve been wanting to make for a long time.  I used a cheap wooden bowl from the thrift store and love the way it turned out.

And in December, I made the cutest little gnome pom pom cupcake toppers!

It was a fun year and I’m excited about the projects I’ll share here in 2020!

Love the personalized dog collar. Would help if every dog wore one with the number that seem to get lost.
