Grazing boards or charcuterie boards are my absolute favorite right now, especially those with a fun theme. I couldn’t resist making a kid-friendly candy corn Halloween charcuterie snack board! This idea is so simple, can be made with any food items that match the three colors, and is the perfect idea for a Halloween party.
To make a candy corn snack board, you’ll need a variety of white, orange, and yellow candy and snacks. The dollar store is a great place to find items to use and will keep this project in an affordable price range. You can choose all candy or throw in some savory snacks and fruit as well. Crackers, orange slices, white cheese puffs, and cereal would all be great ways to add items that aren’t solid sugar {wink}.
It’s difficult to find a lot of candy that’s one solid color so you’ll have to buy boxes of candy and separate the pieces into color groups.
I used gumballs and white chocolate treats …
… along with crackers, licorice, wrapped candies, and a variety of other colored goodies.
Think about shape and texture when you’re buying the items for the snack board. Having different shapes and sizes makes the board look a lot cuter.
Lay the candy out on top of a cutting board or other flat surface, in a candy corn shape, beginning with the white point, creating a yellow middle, and finishing with orange at the bottom. Form the candy into a triangular shape.
I created different piles and then filled in spaces as needed.
There’s definitely no perfection required for this project because everyone can recognize the famous candy corn colors and the general appearance is so cute.
Set out this Halloween snack board before a night of trick or treating, at a Halloween party, or just for a fun Halloween-themed movie night with the family. Kids and adults alike will love it!
