I love baking homemade dog biscuits and I often give them to all the family dogs at Christmastime … and a few of our neighborhood favorites too! This year, I thought it would be fun to package holiday dog biscuits up with a couple of free printable tags with a punny dog theme … and I’ve included them in this post so you can print them out and send a little treat to your favorite pups too. {Are you a cat lover instead? Three Ingredient Dog Biscuit Recipe
To make these easy three-ingredient dog biscuits, you’ll need
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 eggs, and
1 small jar of pureed baby food in a flavor your pet will love.
I used banana baby food for these biscuits but you can see all the other varieties I’ve made by clicking the links at the bottom of this post. {As with any recipe for your pet, check with your vet before introducing any food into your pet’s diet.}
In a bowl, mix the ingredients together.
I like to use disposable gloves to mix the dough together rather than a spoon. It’s just easier to get the ingredients really combined. {Disposable gloves are a must in my kitchen … they make mixing meatloaf and other messy combinations so much better!}
The dough for dog biscuits is much different than regular cookie dough. It should be quite dry and firm, not sticky. If your dough is sticky, add a bit of flour but don’t add any water even if the dough seems really dry.
Roll the dough out to a 1/4 inch thickness and use a shaped cookie cutter to cut the dough. I usually use a dog bone cookie cutter but for holiday biscuits a star or tree is cute!
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the biscuits.

Place the cookies in a cellophane bag or another cute package and add the tag by wrapping it with colored baker’s twine …
… or tying it on with ribbon or tulle.
