Father’s Day is almost here and this simple but whimsical Father’s Day gift box is the perfect way to give Dad his present this year! After all, a gift is always better when the outside is almost as fun as the inside, right?
To make this necktie Father’s Day gift box, you’ll need a {wait for it} shirt-sized gift box, a few sheets of tissue paper, and a craft knife. Using a patterned box or patterned tissue paper is a great way to add a festive touch to the project.
To get these project supplies quickly, click on the photos below to order and have them delivered right to your doorstep so you can get crafting as soon as possible.
Begin by tracing a necktie shape in pencil on the front center of the box. I went for a very whimsical style, using a circle for the knot and a regular tie shape for the bottom. Draw your tie in whatever style you want.
Use a craft knife to carefully cut the tie shape out of the box.
Wrap your gift loosely with tissue paper, place it in the box, then place the lid on and let the tissue paper pouf out of the tie cut out.
You’ve got a simple but cute gift box just perfect for Father’s Day!
