Easy Citrus Party Punch Recipe

This past weekend we celebrated the high school graduation of my oldest son {excuse me while I wipe a few tears away}.  The official graduation ceremony was held on Sunday afternoon and we hosted a drop-in party at our house on Saturday morning.  Along with a buffet full of breakfast goodies, I served this delicious and easy citrus party punch recipe.  With only three ingredients, it’s super simple to whip up and so good, too!

To make one batch of this citrus party punch recipe, you’ll need

2 cups chilled orange juice

2 cups chilled pineapple juice

1 bottle of chilled ginger ale {diet is fine}

and lemon or orange slices for garnish, if desired.

In a large punch bowl, combine all ingredients, add ice if desired, and top with slices of oranges, lemons, or both.  For other fun garnish ideas, freeze ice cubes with chunks of pineapple or mint in them.  You could also freeze cubes of juice to prevent the punch from getting watered down.

Add a large ladle to the punch bowl and allow guests to serve themselves.  Don’t forget my favorite addition to any drink: patterned paper straws!

A quick tip for party success: to make party time easy, mix multiple batches of the two juices together in a large pitcher and store it in the refrigerator.  When it’s time to refill the punch bowl, measure out four cups of the pre-mixed juice and add a bottle of ginger ale.  This will allow you to refill the bowl in no time!
