Wine Spritzer Recipe

This simple wine spritzer recipe is such a refreshing drink for summer and the perfect evening cocktail!  And a wine spritzer bar {click the link for all the details} is such an easy way to entertain friends during the summer months.  And the best part about homemade wine spritzers?  You can use a really cheap wine and the spritzers will still be delicious {wink}!

wine spritzer recipe

To make a refreshing wine spritzer, you’ll need your favorite wine {red or white wines work equally well}, club soda, and fruit garnishes such as lemons, limes, oranges, cantaloupe, or strawberries.  For the best taste, make sure the wine and club soda are well chilled.

wine spritzer ingredients

For each wine spritzer, add a few ice cubes to a wine glass then fill the glass halfway with cold club soda.

… and garnish with your favorite fruit either on the rim of the glass or right in the spritzer.  I love to add small cubes of cantaloupe to mine but grapes, strawberries, and sliced oranges, lemons, and limes are all delicious.  Don’t skip the garnish … it really takes the spritzer up a notch.  Stir gently {a paper straw cut in half makes the perfect stir stick} and enjoy!
