This sangria orange sherbet float recipe was created as part of a sponsored post for Yellow Tail. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Summer time means spending time with friends, relaxing by the clear blue pool, and sipping on delicious sangria, right? Yellow Tail recently debuted a brand new sangria blend that’s absolutely delicious, perfect for summer sipping, and just right for evenings on the porch with friends! And I’ve given it a twist that really makes it summer-worthy: this sangria mango sorbet float recipe!
Yellow Tail Sangria, prepared and ready to serve straight from the bottle, has a deep, crisp flavor with tones of orange rind, citrus, and red berry. I love those flavors for summer but I can’t wait to drink it in the fall as well!
This fresh-tasting sangria is delightful poured over ice {and delicious with some seasonal fresh fruit tossed in} …
… but to make it even more cold, summery and fun, I love to add a large scoop of sherbet or sorbet to turn it into an adults-only sangria float!
Simply pour a glass of Yellow Tail Sangria and add a large scoop of mango sorbet.
With only two ingredients, you can prepare this cocktail in no time and have it ready for friends when they arrive … or add the ingredients to a large punch bowl and let guests help themselves!
The pairing of the sweet mango sorbet with the rich, dark sangria is perfect and makes a fun cocktail or a sweet ending to a meal! And it only gets better as the sorbet melts into the sangria.
Enjoy your summer in sangria style … and be sure to tell me if you experiment with your own sangria float flavors!

oh yum, I’ve been thinking of getting an ice cream attachment for my kitchen aid to make something like this. But why bother, I’m gonna get store bought and keep it moving haha. I had this with prosecco before and it’s amazing well.

I have seen the Yellow Tail brand here and there over the years. I absolutely love their packaging. I don’t drink, but my husband loves wine. Now that I have had a reminder, I will be sure to specifically look for Yellow Tail the next time I pick him up a bottle of wine for a special occasion. Thanks :)!
