DIY Glitter Coffee Cuff

I definitely love my coffee but I also have a real thing about cute coffee cuffs, especially DIY versions.  I’ve made a pile of different ones over the years {you can see links to some of those at the end of this post} and I recently made a fun {and super simple} DIY glitter coffee cuff using premade muslin cuffs and glitter iron on.  Wouldn’t it make a cute and practical gift idea for your favorite coffee lover?  After all, no one wants to burn their hands on a steamy cup of coffee!

To make a glitter coffee cuff, you’ll need pre-made coffee sleeves {or you can cut your own from cotton or muslin and back it with felt}, glitter iron on, plain gray or brown iron on, a Cricut machine {this project can be cut perfectly on a Cricut Maker or a Cricut Explore Air 2}, and a Cricut EasyPress 2.  I used silver glitter but you could obviously make this in any color combination you want.  Bright colors would be super cute!

I love the shabby edges of these pre-made coffee cuffs and, since they come in a large set, you can make a whole batch and knock out a pile of gifts in one sitting.  They’d make great neighbor gifts, PTA gifts, or teacher gifts and even a simple monogram would be adorable.

To make this style of cuff, open the file I created in Cricut Design Space.

I created this make coffee not war design as a fun play on the make love not war saying from the 60’s.  You can customize it as you want or make it as is.

Cut the design from iron on and be sure to mirror the image before cutting.

Once cut, lay the image in place on the muslin coffee cuff, place it all on top of an EasyPress mat …

It took no time at all to make this embellished coffee cuff and it turned out so cute!

These coffee cuffs have a twine lace on the back but I think I’ll switch it out for a colorful thin ribbon instead.  Paired with a fun buffalo check disposable cup {or a reusable one}, this cuff is a cute idea for anyone who loves coffee.  And if you really love the recipient, place a gift card to a favorite coffee shop inside the cup {wink}!

These are soooo cute! I had no idea you could buy pre-made coffee sleeves. I have a few projects that they would be perfect for!
