June sure flew by this year {although I might say that every year!} and maybe more so this year because I was traveling a lot and not home for a couple of the weeks.  I’m ready to jump into July and get back into the swing of things both at home and on the blog but before I do, let’s take a quick peek back at the top five posts of June.  These are the posts that you read the most and shared the most on pinterest, twitter, and facebook {thank you!} … and I always love seeing what you loved best.  Click on the links below to see the full post and all the details for any project or idea and be sure to pin your favorites by clicking the pin it here link!

In June, I shared the best things to buy at thrift shops {the things I rarely pass by} and also included a pile of ideas for what to do with those items once you’ve got them home {pin it here} …

… made a quick and easy colorful painted wood garland that I draped over the upcycled table wall shelf I made last month {pin it here} …

… shared our epic and awesome road trip from Dallas to the Grand Canyon and all the quirky and fun stops in between {pin it here} …

… hosted a wet and wild hello summer party that was the best way to ring in summer break {pin it here} …

… and made simple nutter butter cactus cupcakes that are the perfect addition to a cactus party {pin it here}!

What creative projects did you tackle in June?  Have you got big plans for the rest of the summer?  I’d love to hear what creative juices are flowing.  Share with us on the Dukes and Duchesses facebook page!
