Have you been thinking about Easter? I just realized it’s right around the corner which means I need to plan our Easter dinner menu and get some goodies for baskets! I plan to make a bunch of these upcycled carrot party favors and nestle them among the plastic eggs in baskets and use them double duty as place cards on our Easter table. They take just minutes to make and add a fun and whimsical touch to a place setting!
To make these cute carrot party favors, you’ll need empty toilet paper rolls, orange crepe paper, green napkins, and a glue gun.
Fold one end of a toilet paper roll together and hot glue it closed. Using strips of crepe paper, cover the toilet paper roll completely …
… using hot glue to attach the strips on the back.
Fill the carrot tube with your favorite Easter candy …
… then open up the napkin to a full square, pinch it in the center, and push the center of the napkin down into the tube. Puff it up as you like to create the green carrot top.
This little carrot party favor makes a super cute treat on the Easter table. If you’re keeping it casual, you can even use the napkins in the carrots rather than setting another napkin at each place. And a large letter sticker or a small label would be a great way to add names or initials to the individual place settings.
