Are you planning an Easter party or a big brunch or dinner?  Whip up a stitched carrot easter party favor for each guest.  The younger crowd will love them and everyone will appreciate how cute they look on the table and the fun bit of color they lend to the tablescape.

And the best part?  They can be whipped up in less than five minutes each and you may even have all the supplies in your craft stash!

To make each stitched carrot easter party favor, cut two long, matching rectangles from orange felt and cut three or four pieces of green ribbon, all the same or different.  I cut the rectangles about eight or nine inches long and about three inches wide but you can make the favors as big or as small as you’d like.  Cut the ribbon to a length proportionate to the carrot and stagger the lengths slightly.

Stitch the ribbon to the inside of one of the felt pieces with a simple straight line …

… then place both pieces of felt together {with the ribbon inside} and machine stitch near the edges, leaving the top edge open.

That’s all there is to it.  I told you they were simple!  The carrot is complete …

… and now it just needs to be filled with a cute little chocolate bunny or your favorite Easter candy.
