Do you love polaroid pictures?  I’ve loved them since the old-school polaroids were around and I love the updated little instax cameras as much as my girls do.  My middle daughter used some Christmas money to buy one and we came up with a cute way to hang the photos using items we had in the garage and craft closet!  This polaroid photo hanger is quick and easy to make, can be customized any way you want, and is a super cute way to display photos!

To make this photo hanger, you’ll need

a frame of any shape or size and

crafting wire.

You could also use colorful twine or ribbon instead of the wire if you want to give it a softer look.

As I said, I dug through my stash of old frames to find this one {it matches the frame I used to make the tissue paper art in Lila’s room} and had the wire in my craft closet.  The best crafts are the ones that don’t cost a cent, right?  If you don’t have a frame already, you can likely find an inexpensive one at the thrift store.

Using a drill, make two small holes in either side of the frame.  Where you place the holes depends on how you want the photo display to look.  You can drill the holes right in the middle, place them a bit higher so the photos hang in the middle once clipped, or you can drill two sets of holes and have two wires for hanging.

Feed the wire through the frame and coil the ends around a pen or pencil to prevent them from pulling back through the hole.  If you’re using ribbon, you can tie a knot on each side.

Add colorful clips to hang the photos {I painted the fronts of tiny wooden clothespins to match Lila’s room but you could also buy colored clothespins if you prefer} …

… and you have a cute but so simple polaroid photo hanger.  Photos can be swapped out with ease with the small clips and you could even use patterned washi tape to add a few more around the edge of the frame.

How do you display polaroid photos?
