This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Air Wick®. The opinions and text are all mine.

Spring has started to arrive here in Texas {although you wouldn’t know it based on the recent cold temperatures we’ve had!} and I’m so ready!  I’m craving warmer weather, days on the patio, bright flowers growing in the garden, and the fresh scents that come with spring and summer!  In anticipation, I’ve added some new scents to my home and a whole lot of color to my dining room table with this rainbow produce centerpiece!

When I think of spring and summer, my mind drifts to some of my favorite scents: the smell of warm melons at the Farmer’s Market, fresh basil and rosemary growing in pots on the patio, and the inviting scent of vanilla in homemade vanilla ice cream!  I think that’s why I was so drawn to the Air Wick® Freshmatic® Ultra Summer Delights scent from Target … I knew it would bring some of my favorite spring scents to life and freshen up our home for the season!  My mood and decorating style change with the seasons and Air Wick offers a rich palette of fragrances so I can easily match any occasion or time of year with the perfect scent.

Air Wick has many products {scented oils, candles, and wax melts} that contain essential oils sourced from around the world so they diffuse a long-lasting, natural fragrance.  Air Wick room fragrances make it easy to recreate your favorite season through scent, any time of the year!  They’re a great way to give each space in your home its own distinct mood.

I love the Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra!  The spray canister loads directly into the decorative cover {a feature I love because you can camouflage it into your decor so it does the job without being obvious} and it automatically delivers regular, consistent bursts of fragrance so you know your home will always smell great.  And the flexibility of the Freshmatic Ultra means you can set the intensity control to low, medium, or high so it delivers the amount of scent that suits you.

Different decorative finishes offer a choice so you can select the right style to blend in with your decor so you can get the scent you want without altering your style.

Adding fragrance is an easy way to add personality, character, and a seasonal tone to your home … goals I always have in mind when decorating.  This rainbow produce centerpiece is also a great way to add personality, character, and a pop of spring color to your home or your next party!  And the best part?  It couldn’t be easier.  {Note: the Freshmatic shouldn’t be actively used near food that will be eaten.}

I love color so creating a fresh centerpiece with bright produce is right up my alley.

You can create this centerpiece right down the middle of your table but I like to add a cutting board and a bowl to add some height and interesting elements.  You can create the same effect with a cake stand or a tray as well.

how to create a rainbow produce centerpiece

Shop the produce area at Target and find a little something in every color you can, following the order of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.  Those last few are tricky but purple cabbage will help you get there {wink}!  Be sure to choose produce that doesn’t require refrigeration.  If you’re just creating a centerpiece for one day or one event, that isn’t a big deal but if you plan to leave it up for a week, you’ll want produce that won’t quickly wilt or spoil.  Misting the centerpiece occasionally with water will also help it last longer.

Arrange the fruit in rainbow order, placing some along the cutting board and some in the bowl …

Be creative!  Leave roots on radishes, add sprigs of cilantro in among the limes …

… or use kale leaves to create texture and pattern.  The only limit is your imagination and what you can find in your fridge or at the grocery store.

And if you’ve got fruit or vegetables that are past their time, this is a great way to use them.  Just point any brown spots or bruises downward and no one will know they’re not blemish free!

This colorful centerpiece idea and fresh scents from Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra will get spring started in your home … even if the weather outside is slowing things down!

How are you freshening up your home for spring?
