Peanut Butter Apple Dip

I have a delicious {and fairly healthy} after school snack to share with you: peanut butter apple dip.  And it’s even better when served in adorable little apple cups, isn’t it?  This would make a fun back to school treat for the kids or the perfect fall snack!

Let me show you how simple it is to make these fun apple dip cups.

You’ll need red plastic or paper disposable cups, a scrap of green paper, and a glue gun.

supplies for apple cup

Cut the top 2/3 of the cup off and discard it.  To make it simple, I cut right along the line that was on my cup but you could also measure a line or simply freehand it {the snack-eaters probably won’t be picky!}.

how to make apple cup

Using the green paper {I chose a patterned piece}, cut two leaf shapes and fold them near the bottom.

Using a glue gun, tack the folded piece of each leaf to the top of the cup …

… and you have a sweet little apple cup to serve the dip in!

The only thing that can make that little apple cup any better is to fill it with creamy peanut butter apple dip.  And that’s simple too!

Simply blend together {I use my mixer} one 7-ounce container of marshmallow fluff, one 8-ounce package of whipped cream cheese, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter.  Mix it until it’s all well blended then serve in apple cups and enjoy!
