Remember when I shared the dog biscuit printable at Christmas? It was pretty popular so I guess I’m not the only one who likes to give homemade biscuits to the neighborhood pups {and add a label that the owners will enjoy}! I took it a step further for Valentine’s Day and created an I Woof You printable for the pupcakes recipe I shared yesterday! I know your pup can’t read but this is all about the owner … and all about those super cute pictures you’ll get of your pup sitting next to their Valentine’s Day or birthday pupcake {wink}! {Be sure to share those photos on the Dukes and Duchesses facebook page or tag them with #DnDprintable on social media!}
Before you can use this printable, you’ll need to whip up a batch of pupcakes {click on that link to get the recipe}! This recipe is a one-bowl, throw it all in and stir kind of recipe that takes no time at all to make.
Bake the pupcakes in a heart-shaped pan for Valentine’s Day or a regular muffin tin.
Once the pupcakes have baked and cooled completely, set them on a cake plate if you want to be fancy or in a dog bowl if this is just real life {smile} and grab the printable by clicking the link below.
Print the sheet out on your computer, on either regular paper or white cardstock, then use a heart punch to cut the hearts out or simply trim around the edges with a pair of scissors.
Hot glue the hearts to wooden skewers {broken in half} or toothpicks and stick the pupcake toppers into the cooled pupcakes.
If you have a well trained dog, now’s your chance for a super cute photo opp! Sit your pup next to the pupcakes and capture a really sweet Valentine’s Day or birthday photo.
And if you’re dog isn’t well trained? Well then you’ll just have a photo of the pupcakes and printables like I do {wink}!
