How to Make Monogram Erasers

I have a really fun tutorial today that’s perfect for this back to school season: how to make monogram erasers!  This awesome clay allows you to create any type of eraser you want in a variety of colors … and they really do erase perfectly!  Isn’t that fun?  My kids love them but I have to admit that I might even like them more than they do!

And I love how easy they are to make!

To make monogram erasers, you’ll need eraser clay and cookie cutters in the letters you want.

You can grab these supplies easily by clicking the photos below and having them shipped right to your doorstep!

Using a rolling pin, roll the clay out to a thickness of 1/4 inch.  I use rolling pin rings {affiliate link} to get an even thickness all over.

Use the cookie cutters to cut monograms or other shapes, as desired.  Place on a glass or metal oven-safe pan and bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes {follow package instructions for various thicknesses}.

Let the monogram erasers cool completely and then they’re ready to use!  No other steps needed.

They work perfectly, erasing pencil marks completely without any smearing.  I was so impressed with the quality of this clay!

The kids will love having their own personalized erasers for school … and just imagine all the fun eraser shapes you can make with this specialty clay!
