Tate’s playgroup was cancelled yesterday because of yet another ice/snow day, but it’s rescheduled for next week and Tate has her valentines ready to go.  I loved all the ideas on this great post but had to copy the blow me away whistle valentines since blowing a whistle is one of Tate’s favorite things.

These bright-colored mini recorders come in packages of four for $1 at Wal-Mart.  They’re so cute and colorful and perfect for the younger crowd.

I printed the little saying on cardstock, cut them into a heart shape {I used a stencil to cut the shape but if you have a cutting machine, that would work great too}, and attached them onto the whistle with a drop of hot glue.
