I think I use the word “simple” in every post on this blog and this idea is no different. This simple Christmas breakfast treat starts with storebought cinnamon rolls and is a fun idea that the whole family will love … and you’ll love the ease! You can add sprinkles, dried fruit, or anything else to jazz it up and customize it for Christmas!
I love the idea of making days and events special in the simplest of ways. Not everything has to be a lot of work … the best things can often be the simplest as well. In my own life, with five kids and crazy schedules, simple is good. And my kids love any special treat, not just the fancy, time-consuming ones.
This cinnamon roll Christmas tree is a great idea for breakfast, a playgroup party, or just a fun morning during Christmas break.
How to Make a Cinnamon Roll Christmas Tree Breakfast Treat
Start with a couple of rolls of storebought cinnamon rolls and bake them according to package instructions being careful not to overbake. When fully baked, remove them from the oven and create a Christmas tree shape on a platter. Drizzle with the icing that comes with the rolls or add a coffee glaze that’ll take the rolls up a notch. If desired, sprinkle them with silver ball sprinkles or another festive topping.
Enjoy this festive little Christmas breakfast treat and enjoy making the everyday moments just a bit more special.
