Cinnamon Roll Christmas Wreath

I’m always looking for quick and easy treats for the holiday season and this braided cinnamon roll wreath is a match on both counts.  Made from store bought refrigerated cinnamon rolls, it can be whipped up quickly and decorated any way you like for an easy breakfast treat or the perfect snack for morning coffee with friends!

To make a cinnamon roll wreath, you’ll need one package {any brand} of cinnamon rolls.  The five count is adequate unless you’re wanting to make more than one wreath and then you can use an eight count package.  Each wreath requires only four rolls.

Separate the cinnamon rolls and gently unroll each one.

Using three strands {three separate, unrolled cinnamon rolls}, loosely braid the strands together.

In a greased pie pan, shape the braided pieces into a circle to form the wreath and press the ends together to seal them.

Using another unrolled cinnamon roll, create a bow shape and place it over the area where the ends are sealed together.

Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until the dough is cooked through.

Let the wreath cool slightly then use the included icing {or make your own delicious coffee glaze} to decorate the wreath.  You could also add pieces of fruit, decorating sprinkles, or colored icing to add a bit of bling to the wreath.

Serve the cinnamon roll wreath on a large plate and allow guests to tear pieces off or cut slices from the wreath.  It’s an easy and delicious sweet treat for the holiday season!
