Wrapping Up May

May has come to an end and it’s time to head into the fun of summer!  Before we do, let’s take a look back at the highlights of May.

In May, a few areas of my home got some changes.  I gave my family room a summer refreshing, added some organization in the garage, and added a little organization to our mudroom as well.

I also tackled a few DIY projects, building and painting an umbrella table, making a fun chalkboard house clock for the kids, and making a cedar bird feeder {that the squirrels are loving!}.

No month is complete without a whole lot of crafting.  This month, I monogrammed a chevron tray, added a secret message to a tie {a fun Father’s Day gift}, made a fun game day printable {that you can use too!}, painted a napkin dispenser, knit a basket, made fire starters for camping, painted twig garden markers, and made a fun no-sew jeans pocket garland for summer entertaining.

I also did some cooking.  I shared recipes for fresh garden salsa, three-ingredient TWIX dip, and kool-aid cream slushes.

And we all love a good round-up, right?  This month I shared some that you’ve all been pinning like crazy: 26 DIY ideas for the grill, 20 ways to upcycle old jeans, 50 homemade ice cream recipes, 10 ways to repurpose an old tire, 15 iced coffee recipes, 20 delicious iced tea recipes, 10 creative DIY reading nooks.

See you all in June!
