Top Ten Most Popular Recipes of 2018

As we’re nearing the end of another year, I always enjoy looking back at some of the most popular posts of the year.  In 2018, I introduced twenty four delicious new recipes and today I’m highlighting the top ten most popular recipes of the year!  These are the recipes that you viewed the most and shared on facebook, twitter, and pinterest.  I’ve heard reports from many of you that have tried them and loved them {that makes my day!} and from many more that have pinned them and plan to try them sometime soon.  Click on the links below to take you to the full recipe and be sure to pin your favorites!

If you like a little international flair in your cooking but love an easy dinner idea, this easy slow cooker chicken tikka masala is just the thing!  And for all you instant pot users, this can easily be adapted for the instant pot.

Sometimes a fun dinner is just what you need and tex mex totchos are a favorite around my house.  With a tater tot base and tex mex toppings, this recipe is easy and so good!

I love shrimp scampi but I don’t love the calories that come with it so I created a new, healthier version: sheet pan shrimp scampi.  With less fat and the addition of some colorful vegetables, this sheet pan dinner is a great fit with those New Year’s resolutions!

My family loves a good philly cheesesteak so I converted the idea into casserole form with this baked philly cheesesteak recipe.  This simple recipe would be a fun one for game day!

Instead of a heavy or rich dessert, I often serve a lighter fruit dip.  Citrus flavors are a favorite of mine in the spring and summer months so I whipped up an easy lime cheesecake dip to enjoy alongside vanilla wafers or salty pretzels.  The best part?  This recipe only has a few ingredients.

If you love to fire up the grill, this recipe for maple balsamic grilled chicken is a must try!  Marinated for a short time, the flavors infuse into the chicken and the result is moist and flavorful chicken that pairs perfectly with any side.

Anything flavored with coffee is a huge hit at my house and these easy coffee glazed rolls are requested often.  Made the night before with frozen rolls, these rolls take just minutes to prepare and the family will be super impressed with fresh baked rolls in the morning!

Pork tenderloin is a go-to when I’m hosting guests because it’s so easy to prepare and it’s always good.  My teriyaki pork tenderloin recipe is a favorite but this year I made a new grilled pork tenderloin recipe and served it alongside grilled romaine salad and it was delicious!  The perfect summer meal.

I like to celebrate big moments and small moments and this year I showed you how to make a cookie cake, such a great way to celebrate anything!  Cakes are always fun but a cookie cake is a great alternate!

And finally, this year I made a layered chicken black bean quesadilla that’s the ideal recipe for game day … or any day, for that matter!

What have you been cooking this year?  I’d love to hear what inspires you to get creative in the kitchen.
