This recipe is one of my absolute favorites during the summer months and all year long. This grilled teriyaki pork tenderloin has a flavorful marinade that is so quick and easy to prepare and perfect for feeding your family or entertaining friends. Everyone I’ve served it to loves it! You can prepare the marinade early in the day and when it comes time to cook, just throw it on the grill for the perfect easy meal that tastes gourmet!
If I’m cooking this grilled recipe for my family, I just use one package of pork tenderloin {which has two thin tenderloins in it} but I multiply it for a larger group of people. Don’t worry about cooking too much … the leftovers are equally delicious and can be eaten as is or chopped into a favorite stir-fry recipe.
To make this grilled pork tenderloin marinade, you’ll need one or more packages of pork tenderloin, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, powdered ginger, brown sugar, and pepper.
{Ingredient measurements and full instructions can be found in the printable recipe card below.}
The ingredients get mixed up in a bowl or large plastic zipped bag, the tenderloins marinate for at least an hour or all day {the longer the meat marinates, the more robust the flavor will be}, and then the pork gets grilled up in just minutes.
If you know you’ll be doing some summer entertaining, watch for pork tenderloin to go on sale {it’s a regular sale item at most grocery stores} and keep it in your freezer until you’re ready for this recipe. Just be sure to thaw it before you place it in the marinade so it can fully absorb the ingredients and flavors.

This sounds delicious, Randi! We do a similar marinade on steak that is always a hit so I can’t wait to try this one.
Thanks for sharing!
What do you mean by covered? Do you do them on the BBQ? and put foil over them? or just with the lid on?
Love your recipes. I am terrible at BBQing so say a prayer for me. May this be the dish I DON’T burn! 🙂
We love grilling pork tenderloin and I don’t have a teriyaki recipe. Thanks! Pinning it now… 🙂
Sounds delicious! I’m pinning this for later!
What do you mean by covered?
I just mean with the lid down but it’s not the best choice of words, is it? Thanks for the heads up … I’m going to change it.
