The Best Coffee Frosting

Do you love the flavor of coffee as much as I do?  This recipe is truly the best coffee frosting and it’s amazing on top of chocolate brownie bites or chocolate cupcakes!  You’ll definitely want to add this rich and fluffy frosting recipe to your pinterest boards!

best coffee frosting

To make this coffee frosting, you’ll need

2 sticks of butter {1 cup}

1 container of marshmallow creme {7 or 7.5 ounces}

1 cup icing sugar

1 tablespoon instant coffee granules

2 teaspoons water.

coffee frosting on brownie

With the mixer on medium to high speed, cream the butter until well whipped and creamy.  Add the marshmallow creme and blend completely.  Slowly add the icing sugar, mixing completely.  In a separate small cup or bowl, dissolve the instant coffee in the water then add to the frosting mixture.  Mix on medium speed until the coffee is mixed well throughout the icing.

Spread or pipe the icing onto your favorite baked goods {it would be amazing on warm cinnamon rolls} and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

easy coffee frosting

Doesn’t that sound delicious?  And easy too!  It’s a big favorite around our house.

    I’m definitely pinning this one…for ALL the great coffee recipes in it! This frosting sounds yummy! Do I have to put it on something? Can’t I just eat it straight out of the mixing bowl? Lol! Thanks for sharing. I found you on #FoodieFriDIY

    LOVE this frosting! I first used it for my sister’s bridal shower almost two years ago and we’re hooked. I just made a batch for Easter. Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed Easter!
