An Infused Water Bar

If you’re entertaining this summer, an infused water bar is a simple and fun addition to any beverage station.  I recently hosted a baby shower and served a rich coffee punch so a refreshing water bar was the perfect pairing for those that didn’t want caffeine or sugar.  You can add any fresh fruit, herbs, or even vegetables so guests can enjoy their self-serve customized drink of choice!

An infused water bar can be as simple or as intricate as you like, depending how many stir-ins you provide.

I placed small mason jars in a wire basket  but any glass will work …

… as well as dishes of fresh rosemary and mint.  If you want to get a bit fancier, you could add bowls or skewers of cubed fresh or frozen fruit or herbs frozen in ice cubes.

If you want to offer more stir-ins there are lots of delicious choices for infused water: orange or grapefruit slices, frozen grapes, pineapple chunks, strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries.  Your imagination is the only limit for a water bar.

water bar mix-ins

Rather than using one large dispenser, I filled a variety of pitchers with ice cold water {I liked the eclectic mix but you could also simply fill a large dispenser so you don’t have to worry about refilling the water during the party} …

… and allowed my guests to serve a glass of water and embellish as they desired.  Add a jar of striped or patterned paper straws and you have a simple, refreshing water bar that’s perfect for spring and summer parties and entertaining!

What stir-ins would you add to an infused water bar?

That is so elegant and looks like such a detailed idea, but it would be super easy! I love the varied containers!

This is brilliant! Cucumber water is my absolute favorite and I never drink enough of it! I’m going to cut some up and put it in a dish today to remind myself how much I love it!

I love this! I probably couldn’t help myself and would have to have some berry options out, too. 🙂
