Paper-Punched Easter Egg Tree

This paper punched Easter egg tree is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and All You Magazine, but all opinions are my own. #pmedia #lifeforless

This week I added some fun, crafty Easter decor to our home: a paper-punched Easter egg tree!

This pretty tree was inspired by an idea I found in All You magazine.  I picked up a copy of All You at Kroger {using a $1 off coupon that can be found while supplies last} and found lots of creative ideas for Easter eggs, all of them simple enough to be made in less than an hour.

I added a little twist to the project.  Rather than using real dyed eggs, I bought hanging clay eggs {so I can use them year after year} and colored them with Rit Dye.  A simple dip in the dye and the eggs instantly took on the color.

Once the eggs were completely dry, I used a flower-shaped paper punch to cut yellow flowers from patterned scrapbook paper …

… and used a glue gun to attach the flowers to the eggs.

I glued them in different patterns but kept the color scheme the same so they’d look unified.

When the eggs were finished …

… I clipped some branches from the garden and assembled a cute little Easter egg tree in a vase.  The mix of tree branches with the paper-punched eggs makes a sweet centerpiece for Easter dinner or just a cute decoration for our home.

I love reading through All You magazine and I’m excited about the nationwide launch of All You at Target, Safeway, Kroger, Meijer, and Dollar General!
