I just spent a relaxing week at the beach and I spent hours hunting for shells. Kennedy and I even did a little extreme shelling, reaching into the depths of the surf to grab some big shells {and getting plowed down by waves in the process}. I’m planning a few craft projects with my shells and I thought I’d share a little shell craft inspiration with these unique shell crafts today.
The textures in this seashell and driftwood wreath are perfect. It’s making me wish I had collected a little driftwood as well.

A shell makes a unique label for a souvenir jar full of sand. And wouldn’t it be cute tied onto a basket?
I think this shell specimen board is a really neat way to display your vacation treasures.
Framing a few shells as wall art is a pretty way to save your souvenirs. I especially love the map in the background.
And a shell ball is so pretty. I’d love to have a whole bowl of these on my mantel.
You could spray paint your shells chrome {this link is no longer active} for a completely different look …
… or paint a shell gold for a fun piece of jewelry.
Or you could make this flower necklace from small colored shells. Isn’t it gorgeous?
And if you just have one shell you love, make a beachy sand-covered candle and tie on a favorite shell.
Aren’t those great ideas? I’m totally inspired to make my own shell crafts!

Very nice! We collect shells and seaglass and we make jewelry. We have so much shells and I especially love the shell pieces that have been tumbling in the ocean for years to get smooth all around!
I hope you didn’t lose your swim suit!
I love this collection Randi! There are quite a few projects that I hadn’t ever seen before, so am pinning them! 🙂 Hope your vacation was fantastic!
