10 Back to School Ideas

While I recover from vacation {and do about twenty-seven loads of laundry}, let’s tackle back to school season!  I’ve seen some really great back to school ideas lately and thought I’d share of my favorites with you!

This cut above the rest printable is just adorable!  I’d love to sneak them into my twins’ pencil boxes for the start of the year.

I love all things duct tape so this duct tape lunch bag jumped right out at me.  I particularly love the use of the large grommets … it adds such a clean, finished look.  And with all the amazing duct tape prints available, you could easily personalize this for any child.

Send your kiddo to school with a sweet chalkboard note on her lunchbox.  Your little one will love opening up the lunchbox every day to see what you’ve written.

This chalkboard tote is not only cute but would make the perfect library bag or a fun first-day-of-school gift for a teacher.

I love stitching on paper so these stitched notebook paper tags are a total favorite for me.  Isn’t that just the cutest tag?  And a basket of apples is a fun gift but you could obviously attach the tag to anything.

Apple treat cups would be a sweet surprise at the end of a successful first day.  I might leave one of these at each of my kids’ place settings.  I love the idea of filling it with candy but you could also fill it with a snack mix or grapes for a healthier treat.

This recipe for a great school year printable is so fun!  Print it as a small tag or as a larger frameable sign.  I love the chalkboard art look.

A magnetic chalkboard memo board {with washi tape clips and magnets} is a perfect addition to your message center or a fun gift for a teacher.  This would be a great spot to clip all those papers that need to be signed and returned.

Duct tape backpack tags are easy to make and ensure those backpacks will go home with the right owner.

And why not go big and celebrate with a back to school party to really get the kids excited about a new year?
