Homemade Carrot Dog Biscuits

Homemade dog biscuits and carrots are both on the top ten list for my dog.  Combine the two and I have one happy pup.  These carrot dog biscuits are a twist on some dog biscuits I’ve made before and they got the stamp of approval from the family pups!

To make them, stir together 2 eggs, 1 jar of carrot baby food, and 2 1/2 cups flour.  Once the ingredients are mixed, you may need to use your hands to really knead it all together.  The dough will be a bit sticky and just slightly dry.

Roll the dough out on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with a dog bone cookie cutter.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the cookies are firm {if you use a small cookie cutter, they may be done in a bit shorter time}.  Let the dog biscuits cool completely then store them in an airtight container.
