Wrapping Up October

Happy November!  I love this month but I feel a slight sense of panic at the nearness of the holidays and the rush that will soon be upon us!  You too?

Before we get into all-out holiday mode, let’s take a peek back at a few things that happened over here in October.

In addition to a lot of Halloween crafting and creating, my house got a few updates as well.

In October, I painted an ombre dresser {with wavy scallop-patterned sides}, installed a shiny new bathroom faucet, painted a chair with a metallic finish, and added a Waterpik shower head to one of our bathrooms.

I also took a fun jaunt down to Round Top and met up with some other bloggers for a day of junking.

I came home with some fun finds and loved wandering through tables and booths full of treasures.  I can’t wait to go back!

And I also shared a few delicious recipes in October.
