Happy summer … or almost summer for some of you! My kids started their summer break last week {earlier this year than normal} and I’m loving it. The break in routine and the fun family time is such a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the school year. I’m looking forward to working on projects this summer, some that have been on the to-do list for way too long, and sharing some inspiring travel posts with you as well. But first, let’s take a look back at the top five Dukes and Duchesses posts in May. These are the posts that you all viewed, shared, and pinned the most … so thank you! For full details on any of the ideas below, click on the links to take you to the full blog posts.
In May, I upcycled cheap and colorful plastic tablecloths to make a festive ombre party backdrop for a photo booth or food table {pin it now} …
… shared a free printable password tracker to help you keep track of all those ever-changing letters and numbers for all those websites {pin it now} …
… used a thrifted wood sign and some vinyl to create a colorful sign for a brick wall in my outdoor living space {pin it now} …
… made a personalized dog collar with my pet’s name and my phone number so Molly can quickly be returned if she goes wandering as she’s prone to do {pin it now} …
… and used my Cricut Maker and mod podge to create a cute and colorful cake topper that can be customized with any word or color that you want {pin it now}!
I’d love to see what you’ve been creating this month. Share with us on the Dukes and Duchesses facebook page or in my holiday themed Celebrating the Days facebook group! And cheers to a creative summer!
