Memorial Day is approaching and that means a weekend of barbecues, time with friends, and delicious food. Grab some fruit dippers and add this three-ingredient TWIX dip recipe to your menu!  This recipe uses unwrapped TWIX Bites and the hint of chocolate is delicious!

three-ingredient twix dip

All you need for this recipe is one container of whipped cream cheese, one container of marshmallow fluff, and 1 cup of chopped up TWIX Bites.  To keep with the Memorial Day festivities, you’ll also want some red and blue M&M Minis for garnish.

recipe ingredients

I grabbed my ingredients at Walmart and got to enjoy a TWIX Bites demo as well.  Buying groceries is always so much more fun when samples are involved {wink}.

Making this delicious dip is simple and so quick that you can throw it together at the last minute right before your friends arrive!  With a fork, whip together the whipped cream cheese and the marshmallow fluff until combined then fold in the chopped TWIX bites.  That’s it!  Serve it alongside sliced apples, crispy grapes, or any of your favorite fruits.  If you do make it ahead of time, just refrigerate it until you’re ready to serve.

And to make it just a bit more festive {and way more fun for the kids}, I like to serve the dip in edible candy bowls.  They sound complicated but I promise they’re so easy to make!

Melt red {or blue} candy melt in the microwave according to package instructions then pour it into a star-shaped foil cupcake wrapper {found at most grocery stores}.  Using a spoon, spread the candy melt up the sides of the foil wrapper and along the bottom, making sure there aren’t any holes.  Place it in the freezer to harden.

Once the candy shell is hard {about five minutes}, peel away the foil wrapper being careful not to break the candy bowl.  You’ll be left with a fun edible dish perfect for serving individual portions of TWIX dip!  No need to worry about double dipping!

Garnish the dip with M&M Minis and a cute cupcake topper and you’ve got a crowd-pleasing dessert just right for summer entertaining!

Doesn’t that sound like a delicious way to celebrate the 4th?

Yum! What a great way to get the kids to eat fruit for a snack. And the candy bowls are genius! I’ve tried the Milky Way Bites before and I love the convenience of not having to unwrap those chocolate treats!
