This time of year gets me completely motivated to throw open the windows, let the somewhat cool spring air flow through the house, and make some changes to freshen up my home.  I want everything to feel crisp and clean, from floor to ceiling, and I love tackling a few home improvement projects that add a new touch to the house.  Are you the same?  If you’re ready to welcome spring, I have an easy spring stove top potpourri recipe that will fill your home with the scent of the season and a few must have items to refresh your home this spring!

Sometimes home improvement jobs and spring cleaning feel a bit daunting but the right products can make spring refreshing super easy and I have a few really great products to share with you!

the best tools for spring cleaning and refreshing

N-Hance Wood Refinishing Service

Have you been wanting to give your kitchen or bathroom cabinets a bit of an upgrade, maybe adding some color or transforming an outdated kitchen to the farmhouse kitchen of your dreams?

N-Hance wood refinishing service is the perfect way to refinish your cabinets and a game changer when it comes to cabinet finishes.  If you have painted kitchen cabinets in your house like I do, you know that kids brushing backpacks along the cabinets, dogs scratching the cabinet doors with their nails {please tell me I’m not the only one with a dog that needs some obedience training}, and regular life can really start to show in the form of scratched and nicked paint.

N-Hance products, designed specifically for cabinets give cabinets a finish that is much higher quality and has much better durability than regular paint.  The low VOC acrylic-polyurethane blend is cured with ultraviolet light to provide a smooth, rock-hard, durable finish with little downtime or disruption.  And cabinet refinishing with N-Hance is much more cost effective than a kitchen remodel which leaves money left over in the budget to really deck out the kitchen with updated countertops, backsplash, or appliances!  Because I love color, I love the fact that N-Hance can match any color you want so you can have the kitchen of your dreams.

I couldn’t resist giving N-Hance a little durability test and I cringed imagining how my own painted cabinets would stand up to being scraped with a penny, sanded with sandpaper, or banged with a hammer!  N-Hance passed with flying colors and compared to the regular painted cabinet door, the comparison was crazy.  The regular paint was easily scraped away but the N-Hance cabinet sample was nearly impossible to mess up.

Are you planning a kitchen remodel this year?  N-Hance refinishes over 8000 kitchens a year … yours could be one of them!

DEEBOT Robotic Vacuum from ECOVACS

Spring cleaning can sometimes feel daunting and the one housekeeping job that I dread the most is vacuuming!  I don’t mind the actual task but I hate the time involved.  That’s why the DEEBOT robotic vacuum from ECOVACS is such a huge favorite around our house.  You may have seen this fun robotic vacuum on my instagram stories {we love this vacuum so much we even named it!} but it truly has been ah-mazing!

The ECOVACS DEEBOT 600 provides seamless cleaning for busy people.  It syncs with Google Home and Amazon Smart Home systems so you can start cleaning with just a simple voice command and the ECOVACS app allows you to clean anytime, anywhere with just the click of a button.  You can also schedule regular cleanings so you can arrive home to clean floors whenever you want!  Is that crazy or what?

The DEEBOT has various cleaning modes and obstacle detection technology and it’s worked so well on my tile floors, hardwood floors, and even my area rugs, transitioning from one to the next without any problems.  I love that I can be busy working or covering other tasks while my floors are getting cleaned.  It’s been a game changer!

The ECOVACS DEEBOT 600 is available online at multiple retailers, including Amazon!

Scrub Daisy from Scrub Daddy

My kitchen doesn’t feel clean unless the kitchen is spotless and all the dishes are washed.  I don’t think anyone loves washing dishes but the Scrub Daisy definitely makes it easier … and it makes the job a whole lot happier {and fun enough that even the kids want to wash dishes!}.

The Scrub Daisy dishwand system has interchangeable cleaning heads that not only look fun but are uniquely shaped to easily clean items like baby bottles and baking pans.  The cleaning heads resist odors and each one has three exclusive materials to get items clean: FlexTexture for scrubbing, ResoFoam for suds, and ArmorTec for scratch-free scouring.  Instead of having a pile of different items depending on what you need to clean, you can get any job done with the Scrub Daisy.  It even holds soap in the ergonomic handle and dispenses it while scrubbing.  And when you’re not using the wands, the vase and valet provide self-draining storage.

Spring Stove Top Potpourri

Once your home improvement projects are complete and the house is clean, spring stove top potpourri is a great way to ensure it smells fresh too!  This recipe has only a few ingredients and couldn’t be easier.

The next time you’re at the grocery store, grab a lemon or two, a handful of fresh mint {even better if you’ve got some growing in your garden}, and some vanilla.

Add two cups of water to a saucepan then toss in sliced lemons, fresh mint leaves, and a splash {about a tablespoon} of vanilla.

Simmer on the stove top on low heat and the delightful scent of lemon and fresh mint will fill every room in the house!  Be sure to keep an eye on it and add more water along with fresh ingredients as needed.
