It’s always fun to add a little holiday treat in to the day and my kids especially love treats that they can help make. These shamrock breadsticks couldn’t be easier and they’re a perfect St. Patrick’s Day craft and snack all rolled up in one. The best part? Even the littlest of hands can help!
To make shamrock breadsticks, you’ll need refrigerated breadsticks, cinnamon, and green sugar sprinkles. If you prefer a savory snack, let the kids sprinkle the breadsticks with parmesan cheese or slather them with melted butter and garlic powder.
Shape the breadsticks into a shamrock pattern, breaking them if needed, and using as many as you need for each shamrock.
Bake according to package instructions and sprinkle with your favorite topping when they come out of the oven.
These little shamrocks are a fun St. Patrick’s Day treat and the savory version would make a great side dish for a festive pasta dinner {perhaps you’d like to color your own pasta?}.

More appealing than the previous recipe – however festive/Irish it may be.

Those turned out so cute!
