Personalized Clear Dome Umbrella

The Cricut Explore Air 2 used to make this personalized clear dome umbrella was provided by Cricut. All thoughts and opinions are my own.  This post contains affiliate links.

If it rains this week, it’s all my fault.  I’m actually hoping for a total downpour so I can use my new personalized umbrella!  We’ve had piles of rain this summer but now I’m fully prepared {and really wanting it which probably means we won’t get another drop all summer}.  But if it does, I’ll dig out my monogrammed rubber boots, pop up my umbrella, and enjoy the raindrops!

This is kind of weird but I have a real thing for umbrellas.  I love the ones with fun patterns and colors, I love huge umbrellas that can shelter half the family, and recently I’ve started loving the clear dome umbrellas.  The shape is perfect and I love being able to see through the whole umbrella.  But, this clear umbrella was a bit plain and seemed like the perfect canvas for a cute vinyl message made with my Cricut Explore Air 2.

I created the text {the font is letter gothic std} then inserted an image of a layered raindrop, deleted one layer, and duplicated the drops, resizing as I desired.

I played around with it a bit in Cricut Design Space so that I knew how I wanted to lay it all out ..

… and now I have a super cute umbrella to hide under during the next storm!

If you don’t want this phrase, you could add a monogram or even a cute pattern {colorful polka dots all over would be super cute!}.

I love the clear umbrella trend for weddings and I definitely love it for my own little walk in the rain!
