Tiramisu Cold Brew Freakshake

This tiramisu cold brew freakshake is sponsored by Gevalia.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’m such a fan of the freakshake trend and an even bigger fan of cold brew coffee so it was only natural that I’d combine the two in the most amazing tiramisu cold brew freakshake!  This sweet treat is the perfect summer pick-me-up for the coffee lover and a show stopper if you want a fun dessert for summer entertaining!

To make a tiramisu cold brew freakshake, you’ll need

1 cup Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate {I used the caramel flavor}

1 cup cold milk

4 cups french vanilla ice cream

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon instant espresso or coffee powder with 1 teaspoon water

assorted toppings such as cocoa powder, caramel sauce, caramel candies, pirouette cookies, and ladyfingers

ingredients for caramel cold brew tiramisu freakshake

Before you make the shake, it’s probably best to whip up the espresso whipped cream topping {otherwise the shake may melt while you’re preparing it}.  With an electric mixer, whip the whipping cream until it forms peaks.  While it’s whipping, stir the instant coffee or espresso powder and water together until the powder is dissolved.  When the whipping cream is fully whipped, add the coffee powder water mixture and stir well.  Set aside until you’re ready to top the shake.  {This espresso whipped cream is not at all sweet but creates a nice balance for the sweetness of the shake.  Add a bit of sugar to the whipped cream, if desired.}

Measure one cup of Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate and add it to the blender container.  This Cold Brew Concentrate from Gevalia allows you to make and customize your own Cold Brew at home, meaning you can make delightfully different and unconventional drinks from the comfort of your own home!

This new product is a coffee concentrate that you customize for your taste.  You can make it as strong as you like, as weak as you like, sweetened, or left as is.  And it’s shelf-stable so you don’t have to keep it in the refrigerator until you’ve opened it.  With House Blend, Vanilla, and Caramel flavors, you can be your own barista and whip up personalized coffee house drinks at home!

Add the milk and ice cream to the Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate and blend completely.

Pour into a glass or mason jar {this recipe will serve 4-6, depending on the glass size} …

Then, have fun topping the freakshake any way you like!  Ladyfingers and cute paper straws are a must but a skewer full of caramels and a couple of pirouette cookies also add a fun touch.

The bold flavor of the coffee is a perfect match with the sweet ice cream and I love the touch of natural-tasting caramel flavor in this rich, never bitter Cold Brew.

We’ll be making this recipe again soon but I also plan to spend much of my summer sipping iced coffee and Cold Brew by the pool, watching my kiddos swim.  Sounds pretty perfect, doesn’t it?

I’d love to know if you try this recipe or if you use Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate to make your own delicious drink!  Be sure to share your ideas in the comments and check out the full collection of Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate!

    OMG! Cold coffee is my other obsession (concurrent with craft beer) and tiramisu is my favorite dessert. I love, love this shake! I think that I will replace the milk in your recipe with milk stout:). Can’t wait. Thank you!
