I changed around all the furniture in my dining room last week and this week I decided my dining room table needed something different for spring. I made a paper flower spring centerpiece with natural branches and tiny paper flowers and it’s added a sweet touch to the table and a bit of seasonal decor to the room!
To make this simple spring centerpiece, I cut a few dead branches off one of our trees. You’ve got to love it when you can get some pruning and crafting done all in one shot {wink}.
Then, using three different colors of cardstock, I used my Cricut machine {affiliate link} to cut out tiny, simple flowers, about one inch in diameter.
I laid the branches down the middle of the table then used a glue gun to attach the flower to the branches.
I kind of walked around the table as I was attaching them to make sure it looked good and well covered from all angles.
I used three really similar colors because I wanted it to blend well with my dining room decor but this centerpiece would also look really cute with a blend of different colors, pale or bright.
I love this simple touch for spring but I’ll probably keep it right through Easter as well.
It’ll be a sweet fit with my floral china dishes … and I love the blend of rustic nature with delicate items.
What spring decor have you added to your home?
