The start of a new year gets me in the mood to organize and clean.  You too?  I’ve been cleaning out clutter in cupboards, reorganizing closets, and generally tidying up around the house.  If reorganization makes you happy too, check out my linen closet organization then scroll through the bottom of this post and click on the links for piles of other cleaning and organization inspiration from fellow bloggers!

Our linen closet is in the kids’ bathroom upstairs and while it hasn’t been super messy, the baskets no longer matched after the bathroom makeover.  I know that’s not the biggest deal but I’ve been wanting to redo it and coordinate it with the rest of the bathroom.  And since that can be done for super cheap with some baskets from the dollar store, it seemed like an easy project to tackle.

With seven people in our house, things stay organized for much longer if they’re properly labeled.  It helps everyone know where things belong.  I created simple printable labels that you can also grab and use, if you want.  Download these linen closet labels by clicking the link and printing them out.

I used little faux laminated covers {affiliate link} to cover the labels so they’ll last …

This little update took no time at all but it just feels so much more organized … and I can cross one more job off the list!

The basket aisle of the dollar store is my favorite – so many inexpensive products available to keep us organized. I’ve got baskets everywhere and it sure does help keep this place organized because everything has a home. Cute labels – thanks for the printable!

I love organizing with baskets. Your labels are just what I need. I always know what is in a basket, BUT this will definitely help my family KNOW what is in each basket. Thanks Randi!
    Happy New Year.

I love the idea of placing everything in baskets and labeling them. It would definitely help us find things and know exactly where to put them. Thanks for the great idea!
