One of my goals this year is to keep up with my mending. I have a mending basket that sits on my sewing table and it rarely gets touched. The kids throw things in there and by the time I get around to looking at them, they’ve outgrown them {which is actually a great way to get out of mending … wink}. I’ve resolved to go through the basket and fix at least one thing a week … and taking them to my Mom and asking her to mend them doesn’t count. If you have a mending problem like I do but don’t know where to begin, I’ve gathered up some tutorials for a simple guide to basic mending that will get the clothes out of the mending basket and back into the closet … without making you crazy!
