Do you celebrate Leap Year? Since it only comes once every four years, I feel like it should be celebrated {smile}. In the past, we’ve had frog cones and frog cupcakes. This year, I decided to drop off a little treat for the teachers at my daughter’s school and thought I’d share this last minute leap year gift idea and printable with you in case you decide to celebrate too!
Last year I got my real estate license and I’ve been ramping up my real estate business in north Texas, where I live. Part of that has meant marketing myself and, with my creative background, I’ve chosen to do that in some fun ways that are a little out of the box.
These treats are getting delivered to our teachers but I added my real estate information at the bottom as well. On the printable shared below, I obviously left off the personal information but if you decide to use this idea for marketing, you can always recreate the tags and add your information to the bottom of the tag.
To make this leap year gift idea, you’ll need a package of Extra gum for each recipient, tulle or ribbon, a paper trimmer, a hole punch, and scissors.
You’ll also need the leap year printable. Click on the link and print the tags out on cardstock on your home computer.
Use the paper trimmer to cut the tags to size and punch a small hole in the top of each tag.
Use the ribbon or tulle to attach the leap year tags to the packages of gum.
If you don’t want the tags to shift around, you can add a glue dot or a dab of hot glue to the back and stick them onto the gum package.
This leap year gift idea is a fun idea for kids to pass out to friends and classmates or a quick and easy idea for clients.
If you use it, be sure to share a photo on social media and tag @DukesnDuchesses!
