How to Customize a Tablet

#spon: I’m required to disclose a relationship between my site and Intel. This could include Intel providing me with content, product, access or other forms of payment.

Summer break is almost here {can you hear me cheering?} and my Intel 2 in 1 ASUS Transformer Book T100 Chi {affiliate link} is about to become my very best friend.  My job as a blogger doesn’t stop when the kids are out of school so having an easy way to work on the go is a necessity.  I’ll be working by the pool and at the park and likely at a few local coffee shops … and with that in mind, I want to show you how to customize a tablet like I did to create a little advertising for my site while I’m out in public.

how to customize a tablet

The ASUS Transformer Book T100 Chi is such a great device.  The laptop and tablet 2 in 1 has four different modes: attached, detached, flipped, and tented.  The precision magnetic hinge holds the keyboard and tablet together firmly for smooth and simple docking.  I’ve been using my device attached so it resembles a laptop but it’s also super convenient to detach it and use it as a tablet … especially when I just want to relax and surf through my favorite blogs.

Another great bonus for on the go work?  The all-day battery life lasts ten hours on a single charge.  That means my device won’t die in the middle of writing a blog post at Starbucks {a bonus for all bloggers}.

And while I’m sitting in the coffee shop, my device will be doing a little advertising with the vinyl logo I placed on the front.

Using vinyl and my cutting machine, I added my big turquoise ampersand, my blog name, and my website to the front.  I’m always hoping to invite new readers to my little corner of the web.

I love this simple customization and I’m loving my ASUS Transformer Book T100 Chi.  Razor thin {0.5 inches when closed} and feather light {2.4 pounds}, it’s so easy to pop in my purse or bag and use when I need it.

This summer, I’ll even let the kids use it, tenting the device so my little guys can hide away in their tent and watch a movie.  Summer fun at its best.
