Fun Labels

I love oilcloth and I love labels so when I came across this idea on a new-to-me blog, Oilcloth Addict, I had to try it. I left a comment on the post and was lucky enough to win a scrap pack with some oilcloth and chalk cloth. Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait to make my first batch of chalk cloth tags so I hit my fabric stash (which – yay! – contained both chalk cloth and a selection of oilcloth) and made some today. My sewing table has new labels, as do various boxes in Luke and Lila’s rooms. Kennedy has been promised some labels as well and gets first dibs on anything that arrives in my prize scrap pack.

Besides great ideas, Oilcloth Addict also has some excellent tips for those who sew with oilcloth. I was happy to find the tip on pinning oilcloth without leaving permanent holes behind. I can’t wait to see future ideas on this fun site!

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

I recognize that cute pink monkey fabric. Kaitlyn LOVES her matching pajama pants! Thanks again.
