Frosted Lemonade

A certain favorite fast food chain in our neck of the woods {ahem, Chick-Fil-A} just added frosted lemonade to the menu and it’s so stinkin’ good!  I decided to try making a simple homemade version and, because I love you guys, I have to share it here.  I promise you’ll thank me!  This cool summer treat is tart and refreshing and definitely a new family favorite!

To make your own cool glass of frosted lemonade, you’ll just need three ingredients.  In a blender, add 6 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate {that’s half of a regular frozen container}, 1 cup of cold water, and 3 cups of vanilla ice cream.

Blend the ingredients for a couple of minutes until the mixture is creamy and smooth then serve in mason jars or another type of glass, add a cute patterned paper straw {affiliate link} …

… garnish with a slice of lemon, if desired, and enjoy!  Frosted lemonade is the perfect way to welcome summer and survive those hot summer days.

I have been wanting to try these over at Chick Fil A, but maybe I will just try yours at home! I love frozen lemonade, so I think I will love this. It sounds like a perfect summer treat, too, nice and light and refreshing. I am pinning and sharing over at G+ and FB! Hugs! Chloe
