Frosted Mango Lemonade

My frosted lemonade recipe has been super popular this spring {pin it here} and I decided it might be fun to whip up another version, sort of a frosted lemonade with a twist.  Mango seemed like the perfect complementary mix-in and this frosted mango lemonade recipe did not disappoint!  This frosted lemonade is slightly tart, just a little bit sweet, and full of fresh, delicious flavors.

To make frosted mango lemonade, you’ll need frozen lemonade concentrate, vanilla ice cream, frozen mango chunks, and cold water.

In a blender, mix 1/2 a tin {6 ounces} of frozen lemonade concentrate, 3 cups of scooped vanilla ice cream, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, and 1 cup of water.

Blend well until the ingredients are mixed completely and the mango is pureed, adding more cold water if needed to obtain a smoother consistency.

… and add a colorful paper straw.

This chilled fruity lemonade is perfect for poolside sipping, summer brunches, and late afternoon treats on those hot, muggy summer days.  I plan to keep the ingredients in my freezer all spring and summer so we can whip up a batch at any time.

    Hi there, Randi!

This recipe is a stroke of genius. I never would’ve thought to put these ingredients together! It looks and sounds incredibly refreshing, especially since I’m at the gym on the elliptical right now:-)

I read your about page and I love digging in thrift stores too. My favorites tend to be the thrift stores in small towns. You can find some crazy things. You can also find a bunch of caca!

Anywho, I came across your blog on the Totally Terrific Tuesday Link Up. I’m getting ready to sign up for your posts after I submit this.

As embarrassing as this is, when it comes to being a wife, I feel I definitely lack in the whole domestic department! Thus, I’m looking forward to receiving your helpful posts in my inbox!

Thank you very much for sharing this fantastic recipe. I live in San Diego so this is a 365 day of the yr drink for me:-) Totally pinning.

When I saw this, I thought of the maracuja (passion fruit) pulp I had in the fridge. That’s what I would add next time!

I’d add vodka. I have a spiked frosted lemonade with vodka and it’s delicious! https://dukesandduchesses.com/spiked-frosted-lemonade-recipe/
