I love absolutely anything with the distinct flavor of coffee, from a cup of strong black joe in the morning to coffee flavored candy throughout the day. And I’m always looking for ways to create new recipes with the flavor that I love. This easy coffee sorbet recipe is a spin on a fruit-flavored sorbet I make often. It has just a few simple ingredients, gets blended up quickly in the blender {I use my thrift store vitamix}, and is a refreshing and delicious treat that’ll satisfy your caffeine-loving sweet tooth, especially during the summer months.
To make this easy coffee sorbet recipe, you’ll need strong, cooled homemade espresso or coffee {storebought bottled cold brew also works well}, almond milk or real milk, sugar {I used coconut sugar but regular white sugar is perfect}, and any syrup flavoring {we love hazelnut and vanilla but any flavor would be delicious}.
You’ll start by making ice cubes out of the coffee or espresso so plan ahead for that step. I usually make the ice cubes the day before so they’re definitely ready when it’s time for sorbet. I love the large square cubes but regular sized cubes are also fine.
