I’m kind of loving faux pumpkins this year and all the amazing crafts that can be made with them {and the fact that those crafts can last year after year}. I’ve already cross-stitched a pumpkin with a monogram and this week I cut up a faux pumpkin and turned it into a pumpkin cloche! It’s perfect for a Halloween party or for a special snack before trick or treating … and it’s seriously a five minute craft!
To make a pumpkin cloche, buy a faux pumpkin at your local craft store. I used a large one but a small one would be so cute as a cupcake cover. Choose a color to match your party or decor … you could even embellish it with paint or vinyl to add a personal touch.
Use a craft knife to cut the bottom off the pumpkin. On the large pumpkin, I measured seven inches down from the stem all around and cut along that line.
It’s as simple as that. Truly a five minute craft unless you’re a super slow cutter {smile}.
Place it on a plate or a chalkboard charger …
… and add a holiday message. A pumpkin cloche is such a fun way to add a little decor to a holiday food table.
And don’t stop at Halloween. Pumpkins can style all fall long making this five minute craft the perfect idea for the month.

I want of these! Seriously, what a great idea! I’m always placing my cookies in ziploc bags to keep them covered because I never seem to have anything on hand that just “fits” over the plate. Can’t wait to make my own.

I’m envisioning this as the perfect in-plain-sight place to stash the Halloween candy I steal from my kids…
I’m hosting a link party over on my blog and we’d love for you to link up with us!
