There are certain craft and project supplies that I absolutely love and chicken wire is one of them.  I think it’s the mix of country, industrial style, and hardware store charm that makes me love it so much.  I found 10 ways to use chicken wire that are all really awesome and now I’m rethinking my entire house, wondering how I can add a chicken wire component to a few different spaces.  That roll in my garage may finally get some use!

I love everything about this chicken wire cloche: the tag, the knob on top, and the fabulous way it highlights favorite items in the home.  It’s the perfect touch for a fun vignette.

Wouldn’t this farmhouse message board be perfect for a family command center?  The rustic look of it is just my style and I really want to make one for my kitchen.

How fun is this chicken wire magazine holder?  It looks really simple to make and I love that it doesn’t take up much room.

I think all my mason jars need chicken wire sleeves!  These look great holding silverware but they’d also be fun to use as toothbrush holders in a bathroom.

Remove the wood panel or glass from a cabinet door and add these chicken wire doors instead!  A bold color inside a cabinet looks so incredible against the stark chicken wire.

This chicken wire floral basket would make the perfect May Day basket … or just a really cute way to display a bouquet of your favorite flowers.

A simple chicken wire frame is just the thing for displaying special photos or keepsakes.  Grab a thrift store frame to make this project cheaply!

Rip the fabric or paper off a regular lampshade and use wire to create a chicken wire lampshade instead.  Add an Edison bulb for the perfect finishing touch.

Make your own wire basket and add a dowel and coat hanger handle.  Store yarn, use it to house remote controls, or keep it in the bathroom to hold extra towels.

I love, love, love, this chicken wire farmhouse light and totally want to copy it for my butler’s pantry!  The wood circles are embroidery hoops!

The cupboard in your article is just like one that we have in my house. My wife made it using wire mesh and she is always showing off her work. Using chicken wire certainly gives things a Chip and Joanna feel.
