August is almost over and before it ends, let’s take a quick look back at some of the creative project highlights from the month.
parties

In August, I made a shark backdrop and photo prop and then used it at a shark pool party for the twins, shared a rainbow Fla-Vor-Ice buffet …school

… served peanut butter apple dip in apple cups {made from red disposable cups}, celebrated the first day of school with adorable notebook paper cupcakes, assembled a homework caddy for my younger kids …

kids

… stenciled a bright and eclectic clock for the gameroom, built an art station for my girls’ room, repurposed a dresser into a reading bench for Luke …

for kids

… made a duct tape messenger bag, watched Super Buddies with the kids and made them Super Buddies {almost no-sew} capes, shared tips for teaching kids to sew …

projects… made a silly goose onesie, grilled a platter of delicious cranberry chicken {a simple freezer meal}, and made a Christmas ornament from some of our beach vacation souvenirs.

What a busy month full of fun projects … and there are plenty more planned for September!
