Stylish Spider Halloween Tablescape

This Halloween tablescape was created as part of a sponsored post for At Home.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love Halloween and all the decorations that go with it but I’m not really into the gory side of the holiday.  Instead, I love a classy, slightly spooky, somewhat elegant twist to Halloween … and At Home had exactly what I needed to create a stylish spider Halloween tablescape with patterns, spiders, a few DIY details, and a whole lot of black and white, all at an affordable price!

stylish spider Halloween tablescape

I fell in love with this collection of black and white patterned pumpkins and knew they’d make the perfect centerpiece for a Halloween table.  And I love that I can use them in other ways in the future {they’d look so cute on a mantel or stacked around an entryway!}.  The coiled cloth and burlap stems give them the handmade look that I enjoy and I love the mix of spiders, webs, and polka dots.  They add the perfect mix I’m looking for in a cute and classy tablescape.

Glittery spiders climbing all over them adds just the perfect mix of spooky glam.

I layered the table with a white tablecloth, black cheesecloth, and gauzy spiderwebs then topped the cloths with layered place settings: silver chargers, white plates, and black and white spider plates.  Layering is a great way to add texture and pattern to a table and mix items you already have with new items you’ve bought for a holiday or season.

These spider plates from At Home add a bit of whimsy at an affordable price {about $4 a plate}…

… and black plastic spiders hot glued to the forks add a fun touch.  {When it’s time to remove the spiders, if they don’t pop off completely, you can stick the forks into the freezer for a few minutes and the spiders and glue will come right off.}

Matching arachnid cups are the perfect way to enjoy a Halloween cocktail, an after-dinner drink, or even a bit of water …

… and you can tie other glasses in to the theme by adding plastic spiders hanging from webs.

A tiny dab of hot glue and a few pieces of white string are all you need.

The table is set for a full dinner party or a simple dessert party.  Serve up themed food or treats in somber colors …

    I like the black and white, I think it is funny the one that looks like the cupcake squished it. I don’t mind spiders on Halloween but not crazy about them in real life. I also decorate my two tables with spiders. Except mine are really cute lol.

    Hi Randi, on chrome the pin app is saying your site doesn’t allow pins? Not sure what the glitch is but, sharing from my site. Thanks for sharing at the Inspiration Spotlight party.

    That is a pretty cool tablescape! It’s so much fun to decorate for the different seasons. The spider on the fourth with probably make a single one of my friends jump. That would be fun in itself! LOL You are SO creative!
