Stovetop Potpourri Gift with Printable

This time of year I’m busy trying to think of fun gift ideas for my neighbors.  While a food gift is great and always well received, this year I’ll be delivering a stovetop potpourri gift with a printable containing the instructions.  This gift idea is so quick to throw together but friends and neighbors will love receiving the scent of the holiday season.  And, it’s calorie free {wink}.

To make a stovetop potpourri gift, you’ll need one orange, one lemon, four bay leaves, four cinnamon sticks, two tablespoons whole cloves, and 1/2 cup cranberries for each gift.

ingredients for stovetop potpourri

Package them in a clear cellophane bag, layering the cranberries and cloves on the bottom, adding the orange and lemon on top of each other, and sliding the cinnamon sticks and bay leaves on the side.

Tie the top of the bag tightly with a piece of festive ribbon or tulle.

Print the stovetop potpourri printable onto cardstock, cut it out, and poke or punch a hole in the top.

String it onto the ribbon or tulle and tie again to secure it.

In no time at all you can make a whole pile of these gifts.

All the gift recipient has to do is slice the orange and lemon and add all the ingredients to a pot of water.  The stovetop potpourri will simmer and create a wonderful, inviting scent in the home!

This is such a great idea, and I imagine much healthier than synthetic candles. Thanks for linking up to This is How We Roll!

Love the tree, but I can’t print the free printable. Takes me to a website that I had to install, then I can’t find it anywhere.

No, you don’t have to install anything. I wonder if you’re clicking on an ad. The link for the printable is right above the first picture of the tag. Click on the words “stovetop potpourri printable” and it’ll take you straight to the page to print.
