We’re counting down the minutes until Christmas break and the final hours are full of Christmas programs and parties and all the fun of the season. I made little stitched Santa treat packs for Tate to give to her classmates on Friday. They’re so simple to make that there’s still time to whip them up before the end of the week!
I used my cutting machine to cut out all of the pieces. For each treat pack you’ll need two circles {mine are about four inches diameter}, one rectangle with curved ends for the belt, and a square with a center square cut out for the buckle.
Place the circles wrong sides together, hold the black belt in the center and, with a sewing machine, stitch around the edge of the circle, leaving an inch or two open.
Fill the treat pack with M&M’s or other small candies and stitch the opening closed.
Use a glue gun to attach the belt buckle to the center of the belt.
Super simple and they stitch up quickly in assembly line fashion. When the kids are ready to eat their treats, they simply rip open the stitched treat pack. So cute, so easy!
And if there’s no time to make them for classmates, they’d make adorable place cards for the kiddos at Christmas Dinner {and they’d fit right in with my Christmas tablescape for kids}!
